Maytag Electric dryer wont run? - maytag pye2300

Maytag Performa # Pye2300.Wouldnt lights instead of the timer, suggestions, even now worky.Any?

Dad T said...: It is likely that the thermal fuse is blown (Part # LA 1053) on the right side of the item you are facing the front of the machine. You need to lift the lid and remove the screw, with the mounting plate so that you can access the backup. It is a bastard to work sometimes, but have patience.
